Our approach to Crohn's disease treatment differs from traditional methods by focusing on precision medicine and personalized treatment plans. While traditional treatments often follow a "step-up" or "top-down" approach using various medications, we’re utilizing Liquid Bioscience proprietary AI Platform, Emerge®, to develop algorithmic biomarkers and treatment response predictors (TRPs) specifically for inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's.
This innovative approach aims to provide objective decision support tools for individualized treatment plans, potentially improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. By using AI-driven biomarker discovery, we can potentially identify more precise treatment options for each patient, moving beyond the one-size-fits-all approach of traditional therapies.
Unlike conventional treatments that may rely on symptom-based assessments, our method focuses on developing tools that can more accurately assess disease activity and severity, addressing the challenge of discrepancies between symptom-based and endoscopic assessments of Crohn's disease.
